Personal Details:
Albert was the son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Wood of Cambridge. He moved to Auckland and did an apprenticeship as a builder.

It was announced in the Auckland Star on the 17th of January 1942 that he had become engaged to Heather Gwen Nodder. Together they had three children, two boys and a girl. Joy. They lived in Mount Roskill and Albert remained in the building trade postwar.

Service Details: On joining the RNZAF in October 1941, Albert was posted to RNZAF Station Harewood for training as a Flight Rigger.

Details of Death: Albert died on the 14th of December 1993
Cremated at: Waikumete Cemetery

Connection with Cambridge: Albert was born and lived in Cambridge with his parents before moving to Auckland befoire the war. His parents remained in Cambridge.
