Service Details: Following training and time in the UK, Cyril sailed on the 29th of April 1941 for the Far East aboard the Maetsuycker. He was commissioned as a Pilot Officer on 6th of July 1942.

Eventually he joined No. 684 Squadron as a Mosquito pilot, flying photo reconnaissance Mosquitoes from Dum Dum in India against the Japanese over the vast sub-continent. See more here for details

Died: 10th of March 2006, aged 91
