Personal Details: Elwyn was the youngest son of Alex and Kath Forbes, and he was the twin brother of Catherine Forbes.

He was a motor parts retailer postwar.

Service Details: Edwyn was drawn in the Eighteenth Ballot in November 1942 for Army service, but he'd volunteered for the RNZAF, and was taken into that service.

Died: 25th of November 1998, aged 74 years.
Buried: In the RSA Section of the Hautapu Cemetery, Cambridge

Connection with Cambridge: Elwyn lived in the Cambridge district before and after WWII.
