Personal Details: Margaret was the daughter of Charles Arnold Finch and Mary Elizabeth Finch. She was educated at Cambridge District High School.

She was a member of the Girl's Friendly Society in Cambridge and she attended many of the patriotic and farewell dances for the servicemen in the first half of World War Two.
