Personal Details: Maurice was the second son of Mr J.A.H. Bell of Cambridge. In August 1942 he married Irene (nee Blackie) at Brooklyn, Wellington. He was a Leading Aircraftman at the time of his wedding.

Following his demobilsation from the RNZAF, Maurice joined the staff of Union Airways on the 19th of September 1945. At the time of his death Maurice was living in Peachgrove Road, Hamilton

Service Details: It appears that Maurice Bell joined the RNZAF in August 1940 as a Flight Mechanic, and his initial training and trade training was carried out at RNZAF Station Harewood, at Christchurch. Subsequent details are unknown.

Date of Death: Maurice died on the 20th of October 1994
Interred: Maurice was cremated (probably at Newstead, Hamilton) on the 25th of October 1994

Connection with Cambridge: Maurice lived in Cambridge before WWII.
