Aeroplane Visits Cambridge
Another aeroplane from the New Zealand Flying School, probably also an Avro 504 like the year before, made a visit to Cambridge, and returned to Auckland on the 10th of March 1922.
A brief report in the New Zealand Herald newspaper on the 11th of March 1922 stated that the aircraft had left Cambridge the day before for its flight back to Auckland, and had covered the 85 miles distance (136 km) in just 57 minutes. It had flown at an average height of 4,500 feet during the journey.
I hope to discover more about this visit to Cambridge. If anyone can add more please email me.
